A magical place first thing in the morning although it’s now dark at 6am so autumn is slowly drawing a curtain across the fading light of summer’s dawn. The near circular reservoir around two miles in
circumference acts as a mirror to the sky reflecting is earliest patterns of light, clouds and moods. That is assuming it’s clear – as so often it is clothed in a grey damp mist of drizzle blown in across the Levels.
