There is something magical about sepia tinted photographs that’s both romantic and timeless. No longer confined to an age before black and white photography from the Edwardian era or indeed the kodachrome revolution of the 1950s sepia today soaks the subjects in a golden hue of rich browns, coppers and fawns – a kind of autumnal tone which still hints at the true colours of the subject.
These are a mix of fashions shots from my time at Strawberry Line Times, and real weddings I’ve photographed. I particularly lime the horse and trap pulling the bride through Rodney Stoke in Somerset and the one of India pictured next to a vintage car. The modes of transport somehow add to the tone of the photos.
If you’d like me to photograph your wedding do drop me a line at harryfmottram@gmail.com or call 07789864769. I include a free video of the day as part of the package at a very reasonable £500 for the day.
